[SHOT 2026] FAB Defense AMP Pistol Conversion Kits
New for 2026 from Israeli FAB Defense is the AMP pistol conversion kit. One of the main features that sets the AMP apart from the company’s KPOS pistol conversion kits is the open top design, which makes it compatible with pistols with slide-mounted optics. There are also PRO models that come with a removable aluminum top cover with a Picatinny rail that converts the chassis into a closed top configuration.
The FAB Defense AMP can fit different handguns by using adapters and is currently compatible with the following pistol models: Glock G17/G19 and G43X/G48, Walther PDP (4” models), IWI Masada, Emtan Ramon, SIG P365 X Macro, SIG P320 Compact, SIG P320 M18 X, Taurus G3/G3c, HK VP9, Bersa TPR-9 and CZ P07, 75 P01, P10C.
This new FAB Defense pistol conversion kit has three side-folding stock options: a minimalistic polymer stock (AMP), an AR15-compatible stock (AMP M4) and a stabilizing brace (AMP SL, shown in the pictures), each available in standard open-top-only and PRO versions. The handguard has several M-LOK slots on each side and a Picatinny rail section at the bottom. The charging handle is on the left side of the handguard, but the slide-mounted optic can also be used for racking the slide.
The overall length of the AMP chassis with the stock folded and deployed is 12.8” and 21.3” (326mm and 542mm) respectively and it weighs 25.4 oz (720 grams). The FAB Defense AMP pistol conversion kits are available in black, ODG and FDE color options.
Another new FAB Defense product seen at SHOT Show 2026 is the Glock G43X/G48 magazines. These magazines will be available in 10-round flush fit (shown below) and extended 20-round versions.
