POTD: Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro - IMPACT in 6.5 Creedmoor

Hopefully, you won’t like this exact color and setup too much, because the IMPACT was a limited edition and is now sold out. The basis is a Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro bolt-action rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor, but only 40 units of the IMPACT were ever built. However, we can still admire these images, and find inspiration for new projects - that’s what TFB’s Photo Of The Day is for some of the time.

The riflescope is a Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25x56.

The key highlights in this build were a cold hammer forged 26” Varmint-profile barrel with modular, interchangeable design. An adjustable single-stage Timney Elite Hunter trigger, and a mechanically bedded stainless-steel action with a 60° bolt throw.

The Cerakote is a custom Splatter Camo. The system came with a Daniel Defense folding stock adapter, MDT Elite grip, and M-LOK weight set as well as a Cole-Tac rear bag system and certificate of authenticity.

This 26" Varmint barrel deserves getting used, so I hope all these DDs get their share of range time.
