POTD: The New Nighthawk Custom Cooper Classic
Nighthawk Custom and Cooper Rifles of Arkansas have collaborated to create the Nighthawk Custom Cooper Classic, a limited-edition 1911 chambered in .45 ACP. Only 100 will be produced, and it is perfect for our Photo Of The Day. The slide is engraved with Colt patent dates, recognizing the history of the 1911. It’s nice to see a handgun that isn’t “optics ready” every now and then.
It features a 14k gold bead front sight and a traditional GI rear sight. Both company logos are engraved on the back of the slide. The pistol has a blued frame and slide, with polished small parts finished in nitre blue for contrast.
The pistol features checkering on the mainspring housing and on the front strap for a secure grip. It comes with AAA-grade exhibition rosewood grips, which complement the deep blued finish.
Each pistol includes a custom Negrini case.

please clock the screws on the hand grips at this money.
At $5100 the entire pistol should be polished as finely as the safety and slide stop.
