Tanfoglio’s new Stock Master Xtreme, imported by the Italian Firearms Group (IFG), steps into the competitive shooting world as a purpose-built pistol for IPSC Production Division shooters. This model blends precision engineering with practical performance enhancements for shooters who demand speed, accuracy, and control.

Tanfoglio @ TFB:

At its heart is a polygonal bull barrel machined from a Lothar Walther blank, complete with reverse crowning. This barrel design enhances durability and shot consistency. The distinctive “Shark” slide, featuring aggressive serrations at both the front and rear, ensures a firm grip for quick manipulations during matches or practice.

Chambered in 9x19mm and sporting a 19-round capacity, the Stock Master Xtreme arrives competition-ready. The Xtreme aluminum grip frame, extended magazine release, and flared magwell streamline reloads under pressure. These components are designed with high-speed performance in mind, so if you’re looking for excuses there’s now less reason to blame anyone but yourself.

For precision shooting, the pistol includes a fully adjustable rear sight and a fiber optic front sight that’s easily swapped to match lighting conditions. Control features like an ambidextrous extended thumb safety and an extra-long beavertail improve handling and recoil management. Meanwhile, an adjustable double-action trigger and a skeletonized Delta Xtreme hammer deliver a crisp, predictable break and rapid reset for follow-up shots.

According to the manufacturer, the Tanfoglio Stock Master Xtreme is a competition powerhouse, blending precision engineering and advanced ergonomics to dominate the range. Whether you’re a professional competitor or a dedicated shooter, this pistol is said to deliver exceptional control, accuracy, and performance with every shot.

Since I have a Stock Xtreme III Optics Ready, I’m a little biased, but I like it very much and the trigger and recoil are really sweet.

I had the opportunity to shoot a similar Tanfoglio last year. Would seriously consider purchasing one if funds were available.

And kudos to them. Four magazines! If I am purchasing a $2200 handgun, give me the magazines.
