Next Generation Rifle Contract Awarded to POF-USA for Asian Client

Patriot Ordnance Factory Inc. (POF-USA), working in partnership with SERT, has announced it has been awarded a contract to supply a Next Generation Rifle System to an undisclosed end user in Asia. The agreement further expands POF-USA’s footprint in the international defense market, where the company supplies small arms solutions to military, law enforcement, and government customers.

Under the contract, the selected platform is POF-USA’s Renegade chambered in .300 Blackout with an 8-inch barrel. The Renegade was chosen for its compact form factor and suitability for modern operational environments where suppressed use and maneuverability are priorities. The .300 Blackout configuration allows reliable function with both subsonic and supersonic ammunition, offering flexibility for a range of mission profiles without requiring changes to the weapon system.

The Renegade platform is designed as a configurable system, supporting the integration of optics, laser aiming devices, and suppressors commonly used in close-quarters and specialized operations. Fully ambidextrous controls are standard, enabling effective use by both right- and left-handed operators and simplifying transitions during dynamic movement.

Several proprietary POF-USA technologies are incorporated into the rifle. These include the company’s E² dual-extraction chamber, intended to improve extraction reliability, as well as a roller cam pin designed to reduce friction and wear within the upper receiver. The platform also features POF-USA’s heat sink barrel nut, which is engineered to assist with heat management during sustained firing.
