Heckler & Koch and Rheinmetall Nordic Join Forces
Heckler & Koch GmbH and Rheinmetall Nordic AS have entered a strategic partnership covering weapons, accessories and associated systems for military and law enforcement use. Rheinmetall Nordic, part of the Rheinmetall Group, contributes long-standing experience in weapon accessories, mounts, fire-control solutions and related technologies. Heckler & Koch adds its background as a major designer and manufacturer of small arms and light weapons.
The agreement is intended to combine the companies’ complementary capabilities to meet increasing customer demand and support the delivery of complete, integrated systems. Both organizations are known for a focus on reliability and quality, and the partnership aims to maintain that standard while creating a framework for new product development, improved delivery timelines and broader market growth.
Thomas B.Nielsen, CEO Rheinmetall Nordic, said:
“We look forward to continuing our already productive partnership with Heckler & Koch. In light of the current international situation and the ongoing rearmament efforts among European customers and allied nations, it is vital to establish formal partnerships between key European defence companies. We are fully committed to expanding our capacity and capabilities, while continuing to deliver the same level of quality and reliability we are known for.”
Heckler & Koch CSO Marco Geißinger said:
“This strategic partnership brings together two strong and highly complementary European defence companies. Heckler & Koch stands for premium small arms that are reliable, combat-proven and available. Together with Rheinmetall Nordic, we will strengthen our ability to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions that meet the rising demand of our military and law-enforcement customers across Europe and beyond. In times of increased security requirements, close and trusted industrial cooperation is essential and this agreement reflects our clear commitment to that responsibility.“

Maybe they can make the lowers for the HK MR556 A5. Mine looks like a 120 grit piece of sandpaper. I think it’s sand cast not forged like the German made 416 lowers
And HK won’t return phone calls to me or my distributor about the gun
