A new AI-powered shooting application called BALLISTiQ is now available for both Android and iOS. It is essentially a ballistic calculator with some advanced features such as voice control, Kestrel integration, real-time weather data updates and in-depth analysis. The app is advertised as a “precision ballistic calculator for professionals who demand accuracy and reliability” that will allow you to “achieve 99.9% accuracy and take your precision shooting to the next level”.

Here is the full list of features of the new BALLISTiQ app:

  • Voice Control: Hands-free operation with advanced voice recognition. Get real-time calculations without taking your hands off your weapon.
  • Ballistic Calculator: Instant calculations considering wind, temperature, humidity, and altitude for maximum precision.
  • Shot Analysis: AI-powered camera analysis to track shots, identify patterns, and suggest performance improvements.
  • Environmental Data: Automatic environmental data collection using device sensors for accurate calculations.
  • Performance Tracking: Detailed analytics and progress monitoring to track improvement over time.
  • Secure & Private: Military-grade encryption ensures your data remains private and secure.

The BALLISTiQ is a free app. I downloaded and installed it on my phone, and it seems to have a pretty simple and intuitive interface, although I haven’t used it on the range yet. If you want to give it a try, here are the download links: Android and iOS. For more information, visit the BALLISTiQ’s website.

Tell us in the comments section what you think about this new app. What features do you like in shooting software and what makes you go ballistic?

Installed now—looks great. After some testing, I’ll share feedback.

Looks interesting, but having watched MDT's top shooter compete using AI I'm pretty sceptical.

AI is where tech is heading. The app doesn’t have AI yet, but I chatted with the team and they’ve got some really exciting stuff planned. I believe in them and support it 👍
