CMP is best known for selling M1 Garand rifles, but they also offer other vintage military firearms. The M1917 Enfield (yes, we know, it isn’t technically an Enfield, but everyone knows what it means in this context, and the actual Army field manual calls it that, so chill out) has been scarce for the last several years, but is currently available. Field-grade models, which are functional but in less-than-ideal cosmetic condition, are currently on sale for $900. That’s $100 off of the regular price.
The new .30-06 commercial load is produced by Creedmoor Sports. It features Lapua brass, Berger 150-grain OTM bullets, and Vihtavouri powder. Yes, it is safe for use in the M1 Garand. Pricing is $43.80 for a 20-round box or $219 for a 100-round case. This ammo is not available on the website yet, but was on sale at the National Matches and should be in stock for order soon.
Other “new” products include various reclaimed receivers. As original, usable condition rifles have gotten harder to find, CMP has worked to find more options. Many of the rifles on sale now are “reclaimed,” meaning they were made non-functional at some point, but have since been restored to usability. Stripped Garand receivers are $275 for B-grade and $325 for A-grade. Barreled options (with headspace bolts and a new commercial barrel) chambered in .308 or 30-06 are $500.

Back in 2017 I picked up a 1917 out of my wife's uncle's estate. Thing was and is mint and I gave next to nothing for it. Shoots lights out too.
