CCW or Range Ready? Magpul’s Ruger RXM Grips Let You Choose On the Fly

As you know, Magpul teamed up with Ruger to create the RXM pistol, and they seem very proud of the result. With a bit of clever engineering, a single Fire Control Insert (FCI) allows users to swap between grip sizes, transforming the RXM into either a Full-Size pistol or a Sub-Compact ideal for concealed carry. Two Magpul grip options will be available this summer.

Both configurations feature Magpul’s ¾-scale TSP (Textured Shooting Platform) across the front strap, back strap, side panels, and forward index pads. Each includes a universal light/laser accessory rail, an undercut trigger guard for a higher grip and improved comfort, and a magazine-release scallop for easier access to the textured mag release. The RXM is compatible with both Magpul GL9 and OEM GLOCK magazines.

Looking to customize your build? Each Magpul EHG grip accepts most Gen3 magazine release and slide stop components, along with a wide range of holsters and accessories. Both grip sizes come pre-installed with a Ruger magazine release, mag release spring, slide lock spring, and takedown pin spring. Naturally, every EHG is made from strong, rigid, injection-molded polymer for durability and performance.

The Ruger EHG RG9 Grip – Ruger RXM™ Features:

  • ¾-scale TSP on the front strap, back strap, side panels, and forward index pads
  • Magazine well flare for easier reloading

I want a Brouwer M1811 grip for an RXM so I can have Glock on the inside and 1911 on the outside lol

While we are wishing for ponies, I'd love to see a Strike Industries SMC Bravo for the RXM to build out a PDW. I'd rather use this than buy a P320 FCU so I can reuse my glock mags.

Considering that Strike already has their own glock mag compatible FCU-based pistol in the market now, they might not want to create a direct competitor by enabling Ruger.
