From Valhalla to the Range: Viking Desert Eagle Unleashed

A new legend arrives: the Limited Edition Viking Desert Eagle is now available, inviting collectors and shooters to experience a theatrical blend of brute force and artisanal detail. While the original Vikings supposedly armed themselves with swords, axes and shields, the modern Viking has the .50 AE Desert Eagle as an option. This creation is as much a showpiece as it is a shooter.
That historic styling is matched by modern control and function. The pistol’s all-steel construction gives it substantial mass, and the Desert Eagle’s gas-operated action helps tame the potent cartridge and reduce felt recoil. An integrated muzzle brake further improves manageability, and a Picatinny rail provides a ready mount for optics. The limited edition pistol ships with a single seven-round magazine.
Magnum Research was founded in 1979, more than 900 years after the Viking era ended. It’s probably over 20 years since I fired one of these Beasts, but I remember the recoil being milder than anticipated, probably thanks to the gas-operation. Have you ever tried one?
There’s no price indication around, and no information about how limited this edition will become. For more information, check: https://www.magnumresearch.com/legendary-power-meets-norse-artistry-in-the-new-limited-edition-viking-desert-eagle/

Cringe.
It's nice to have options, but I think I'll stick with the classier gold tiger stripe model.
