CZ Releases the 600+ Trail in FDE
CZ has added a new variant to its 600+ bolt-action rifle lineup with the introduction of the 600+ Trail FDE. The rifle keeps the compact, PDW-inspired layout of the original Trail but adds a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish across the exterior surfaces. The Trail FDE is offered in .223 Remington, .300 AAC Blackout, and 7.62×39, and it’s called a compact sporting rifle. Like the rest of the 600+ family, it uses a user-swappable barrel system that allows caliber changes without replacing the entire rifle.
CZ 600 @TFB:
All versions feature a 16-inch cold hammer-forged barrel. The M15×1 muzzle thread is used, for mounting suppressors and muzzle devices.
CZ builds the Trail’s receiver and forend from duralumin, topped with a full-length Picatinny rail. The handguard includes M-LOK slots on multiple faces, giving shooters a range of accessory-mounting options.
A notable feature is the four-position telescoping stock with a right-side cheekpiece. This design provides a compact folded length while still offering adjustable support when deployed.
The Trail FDE uses a two-stage trigger that can be adjusted through four pull-weight settings. Bolt lift is 60 degrees, contributing to faster cycling in confined positions.
The controlled-feed system uses a short ejector for consistent operation. The .223 Remington version accepts AR-15 magazines, while 7.62×39 models run on BREN 2-pattern magazines.
CZ lists an accuracy expectation of 2 MOA at 100 meters—three-shot groups for .300 BLK and five-shot groups for the remaining calibers. Metal components receive a BobOx deep-nitriding treatment, and the company states the receiver is rated for a 20,000-round service life.
With its adjustable stock, modular barrel system, and FDE finish, the CZ 600+ Trail FDE is positioned as a compact bolt-action option for shooters who want a lightweight, configurable rifle with familiar magazine compatibility.

CZ needs to make this in short action calibers with a standard Magpul SR25 mag pattern. Calibers 308, 8.6 BLK, 6.5 to start. You shouldn't have to pay Q Fix money for the capability.
I find it wonderful that they replaced the 550 series with this turd...
