Davidson’s Exclusive Ruger Mini-14 Tactical in .300 AAC Blackout
Over the years, Davidson’s and Ruger have made hundreds of exclusives together, and it’s now time for a Ruger Mini-14 Tactical chambered in 300 AAC Blackout. This exclusive model features the Samson side-folding stock in a matte stainless finish, in case you want to make the rifle more compact during storage.
Davidson's Exclusives @ TFB:
As I’m sure most of our readers are aware already, the 300 AAC Blackout cartridge has become a favorite for many long gun suppressor shooters. Not only is it a .30-cal round, but it is also quite quiet if you use a suppressor and subsonic rounds. This model comes with a removable flash hider and a 16.5-inch cold hammer-forged barrel. The barrel is threaded with a 1/2x28 pitch, making it easy to add the suppressor of your choice. The barrel has a 1:9" twist rate, in case you’re already thinking about which kind of ammunition will be suitable?
Furthermore, this rifle includes several practical features:
- Heat Shield: Protects against excessive heat during extended shooting sessions.
- Sights: A protected blade front sight and a ghost ring rear aperture sight offer reliable aiming options.
- Picatinny Rail: An included rail section provides flexibility for mounting optics.
- Integral Scope Mounts: Built directly into the solid steel receiver for added stability, paired with a set of 1-inch scope rings.
- Sling Swivels: Installed at the front and rear for easy carrying options.
- Magazines: Comes with two 20-round Nickel Teflon steel magazines.
Shooters can choose between using the included scope rings or the Picatinny rail for their preferred optics setup. Currently, the only other Mini-14 chambered in 300 AAC Blackout from Ruger’s standard catalog features a fixed black synthetic stock. The overall length is 36.85” and the weight is 7.5 lbs.
The MSRP is $1,849.00. Here is a direct link to the Mini-14 Tactical Rifle Davidson's Exclusive: https://www.galleryofguns.com/genie/Default.aspx?item=5896

How is this "tactical" compared to the original?
Dumb price. I’d give it more than a cursory glance if it was chambered in 400 legend
