Magpul Unveils New UCS Stock for Rear Picatinny-Mounted Firearms
I have to say that I’d love my ARs to have a rear-mounted Picatinny rail, so I could switch stocks more often. Unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to happen, but those who own a firearm with this feature are now getting a new option with Magpul's release of the UCS (Utility Carbine Stock).

Magpul Adds Ruger American Short Action to Hunter Lite Stock Lineup
At the NRA Meetings in Atlanta, Magpul released a few new products, including the latest addition to the Hunter Lite lineup, which is now available for Ruger American rifles chambered in short-action cartridges. Like previous Hunter Lite models, it keeps practical features like the aluminum V-bedding block, AICS mag compatibility, adjustable comb height and length of pull, and a reversible insert to support both left- and right-handed actions. The slimmer forend and 2.5-pound weight keep it well-suited for backcountry use. It’s also compatible with both Gen I and Gen II Ruger American receivers.
CCW or Range Ready? Magpul’s Ruger RXM Grips Let You Choose On the Fly
As you know, Magpul teamed up with Ruger to create the RXM pistol, and they seem very proud of the result. With a bit of clever engineering, a single Fire Control Insert (FCI) allows users to swap between grip sizes, transforming the RXM into either a Full-Size pistol or a Sub-Compact ideal for concealed carry. Two Magpul grip options will be available this summer.
Magpul Brings Premium Features to P365 Mags - Without Premium Price

It’s the details that often make or break the project, and that includes your AR-15 build. The 5 Best AR-15 Tools for Your Gun Bench in 2025
Over the years, I’ve amassed quite a collection of tools, but when it comes to gunsmithing, I never started with a dedicated set. Instead, I picked up tools piecemeal—a wrench here, a punch there—usually driven by the immediate needs of a project. Too often, I resorted to makeshift methods or ill-suited tools that got the job done but left me frustrated, realizing later that the right tool could have saved me a lot of hassle from the start. Reflecting on these past missed purchases, today we’ll explore some of the best AR-15 tools you can buy in 2025 for your at-home gun bench, whether that’s the dining room table, the kitchen counter, or a proper workshop setup.

Turn a Single Point Sling Into A Two Point
Lifeline Warrior Medicine has a very simple technique for retaining your rifle on your back if you only have a single point. You hook the the sling over a vertical grip. It is a clever technique but it only seems to work with a vertical grip. Also the shooter is using what looks like a Magpul MS3 sling. As long as he has a sling point elsewhere on the gun, he could easily switch to a two point as the MS3 sling was designed to do.
