Burris Optics Celebrates 50 Years With The New Fullfield Riflescope

To commemorate its fifty-year milestone, Burris Optics has unveiled its redesigned fifth-generation Fullfield riflescope series. Reimagined from the ground up, new Fullfield rifle scopes will preserve the legacy of enhanced optical clarity and wide field of view from previous generations, characteristics that have cemented them as a staple among hunters, while incorporating modern features and advanced technologies like the Burris Knob Synergy System.
Newly redesigned Fullfield optics feature a shorter footprint and lighter weight than their predecessors, reducing fatigue during long treks while enhancing balance and maneuverability in the field. Fifth-generation Fullfield rifle scopes are updated with a modern aesthetic and refined ergonomics, including high-relief knurling on the magnification ring and adjustments, providing a secure grip and smooth operation.
With optical clarity and light transmission being essential qualities for any serious optic, the new Fullfield is said to deliver with the help of multi-coated lenses and high-performance glass, minimizing glare and increasing low-light visibility through the one-inch tube. Burris says this latest iteration of Fullfield optics provides a crisp view downrange with enhanced color fidelity and contrast critical to identifying targets under all lighting conditions.
Burris Fullfield rifle scopes employ a unique rear focal plane design, and this latest generation offers a range of reticle options to suit the diverse needs and preferences of a variety of shooters. Variations include a classic Plex-style duplex reticle, advanced ballistic options like the Burris Ballistic E3, and illuminated reticle options.
The Knob Synergy System featured on the Fullfield series is a first for Burris, allowing users to customize control by switching between zero-click stop-enabled Advanced Capped and Advanced Exposed elevation turrets. Additionally, custom laser-engraved ballistic turrets are also available from Burris for all Fullfield scopes, providing tailored precision for your preferred ammunition and geography.
The latest generation of Fullfield rifle scopes will launch with six focal ranges across 15 models, intended to ensure magnification and reticle combinations that meet domestic and global demands. These models include:
- 2-8x35mm
- 2.5-10x42mm
- 3-12x42mm
- 3-12x56mm
- 4-16x50mm
- 6-24x50mm
The new Fullfield line continues a tradition of class-leading features and performance, providing hunters with reliability and precision in rugged and demanding environments. MSRP ranges between $192 and $600, depending on model.
