Konus Adds Two Thermal Riflescopes: The Fiery R and Fiery RF
Two new options will join the Konus Fiery thermal scope series. First in the new series is the flexible Fiery RF, a unique 3-in-1 thermal device (pictured above) and the Fiery R, a conventional-looking 30mm riflescope. For those not familiar with Konus, they market products ranging from riflescopes to spotting scopes and from electronic dot sights to binoculars and more.

Fiery RF 3-in-1 Thermal with Rangefinder
The Fiery RF is a hybrid device that functions as a handheld thermal monocular, a standalone riflescope, or a clip-on thermal optic that mounts to the front of a standard riflescope. This 3-in-1 setup gives users the ability to move between observation and engagement roles without switching gears. It mounts via Picatinny rail using an included heavy-duty mount, or clips onto the front of traditional optics with objective lenses in the 44–56mm range.
A built-in laser rangefinder offers accurate distance readings up to 880 yards, while thermal detection extends to 2,750 yards. The optic supports six reticle patterns, multiple color palettes, and includes photo and video capture functions. It’s rechargeable, waterproof, and built to handle extreme temperatures and rough field conditions.
Fiery R 30mm Tube Thermal Scope
The second new offering, the Fiery R, is designed to resemble a standard 30mm tube riflescope while housing a full-featured thermal system. With digital zoom ranging from 3.4x to 13.6x, ten reticle patterns, eight color options, and a ballistic reticle function, it’s built for shooters who want a thermal optic that fits into a familiar scope format. The Fiery R is fully waterproof, shockproof, and rated to withstand recoil up to 6,000 joules, making it suitable for use on larger calibers.
Both scopes operate in temperatures ranging from -22°F to 122°F and include video/photo functionality for recording hunts or training sessions.
