Reptilia would like you to meet their new Picker, a billet-machined, 7075-T6 aluminum ambidextrous safety designed to feel like a natural extension of your thumb, regardless of your dominant hand. Featuring a smooth 75/90° throw, MIL-SPEC compatibility, and precision anodizing to complement your favorite Reptilia accessories, the Picker ensures intuitive, single-handed operation for both left- and right-handed shooters.

Reptilia Corporation @ TFB:

The Picker is said to have zero break-away and uncompromising reliability, to deliver seamless performance and unwavering confidence in critical moments.

Key features for the Reptilia Picker:

  • Ambidextrous 75/90° throw for fast, consistent engagement
  • Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, MIL-STD Type III hardcoat anodized
  • Fits all Mil-Spec lowers
  • Available in matching Reptilia anodize options
  • Proudly made in the USA

Reptilia has grips and tons of other accessories available. To me, they’re most famous for their mounts.

The product will be available in three different colors: Black, Clear or FDE.

I am a right-handed shooter, but for precision shooting with AR systems and DMR, I try to (learn how to) shoot with my right thumb outside of the pistol grip, like many competitors do in PRS. Having an ambidextrous safety helps, at least it has helped me. From time to time, I still use the selector on the left side.

The Picker selector is priced at $74.95. You can find a direct link just here: https://reptiliacorp.com/product/picker-selector/

How much does the selector mean for your build? Do you usually try to keep the same brand on all accessories and parts in your build, or do you mix or just take the cheapest option, or what you have lying around?
