Altus Shooting SolutionsĀ is proud to announce and introduce the Mammoth line of suppressors from Clovis Precision. The name Clovis and Mammoth derives from the Clovis people, who emerged around 13,000 years ago. They were a Paleo-Indian culture renowned for their distinctive fluted spear points, used to hunt megafauna such as mammoths during the late Pleistocene. Fast forward to today, where we now use other kinds of weapons and projectiles, sometimes with suppressors.

The Mammoth line includes three different lengths, all non-auto-rated. The specifications also include the dB reduction and weight, which is a nice touch when selecting what’s right for you.

There are different configurations to choose from. Did you ever try a suppressor with a muzzle recoil brake attached to it? I have, and it’s a pretty interesting idea that works rather well.

According to the manufacturer, the next available limited batch is expected to be available on August 8. The Clovis Precision Mammoth suppressor is available between $800 and $910.
