Savage Arms Redesigns the Model 110 With AccuFit V2 & Improved Action
Savage Arms announced the next generation Model 110, the longest continuously produced bolt-action rifle in America. The updated platform features AccuFit V2 with toolless stock adjustability, manufacturing improvements to the bolt action, and an expanded lineup spanning 16 models with hundreds of SKUs including new cartridge options and left-hand configurations.
This follows Savage's redesigned Axis line launched in 2024. Full details for four of the models are available at Savage's Model 110 AccuFit V2 product page.
Platform Updates
Savage updated three main areas: The stock system, the receiver and bolt, and the magazine.
AccuFit V2 Stock
The AccuFit V2 system provides toolless adjustment for length of pull and comb height via the Quick Set Dial (QSD). Some models include interchangeable grip modules in small, medium, and large sizes.
The stock features a high cheek piece and steep grip angle similar to the Axis line. The design positions the shooter's eye for modern optics mounted higher above the bore.
Receiver and Bolt
The receiver features a "vertical cut" process in the bolt travel area for smoother operation. The bolt head includes an improved extractor claw for better case contact and a dual ejector system.
The second-generation AccuTrigger addresses an issue where the AccuRelease blade could lock up if set too light. The trigger retains user-adjustable weight and Savage's crisp break.
Magazine
The new synthetic magazine is backward compatible with older 110 models. Savage states it offers improved feeding and handling.

Historical Context
The Model 110 was introduced in 1958 by designer Nicholas L. Brewer, originally chambered in .30-06 Springfield and .270 Winchester at a retail price of $109.75. Over the decades, the platform evolved to include innovations such as the AccuTrigger, AccuFit, and AccuStock systems.
"The 110 is our longest standing rifle, and for good reason," said Beth Shimanski, Vice President of Marketing at Savage Arms. "Building on the next evolution of AXIS that was launched in 2024, the new era of the 110 exemplifies Savage's ability to maintain our standing as a heritage brand while staying at the forefront of innovation."
Summary
The updated Model 110 lineup includes four variants (out of 16 total) spanning entry-level hunting rifles to premium ultralight and tactical precision rifles, with MSRPs ranging from $1,049 to $1,949. All models feature AccuFit V2 for toolless stock adjustment, improved bolt and extractor designs, and AICS-compatible magazines. Left-hand options are available across the entire lineup.

I suppose I'm going to have to part with a few things and get that new Savage 110 Tactical Core.
