POTD: The Glock 45 Upgrade - TriggerTech ACE Installation

Today’s Photo Of The Day shows the TriggerTech ACE trigger being fitted to a Glock 45 with a threaded barrel. The ACE is said to offer a smooth, consistent break and a short, clean reset compared to the stock Glock module. You know, features that would make any kind of trigger a popular aftermarket choice for both competition and carry builds. During installation, we documented the simple drop-in procedure: removing the factory trigger group, transferring the connector, and seating the new unit before function-checking and test-firing. In fact, the gunsmith (who had his first Glock Armorer's certificate back in 1987) said it was the easiest and fastest Glock trigger change he ever made.

The photos highlight the trigger’s polished engagement surfaces and slim profile that clears the Glock’s factory trigger guard without additional fitting. As always, users should ensure the trigger is installed by someone familiar with Glock assemblies, perform a full safety and live-fire check, and verify reliability with their chosen ammunition.

A card game is included inside the trigger package.

This is TriggerTech's first pistol trigger. I had a Grand Master (now Super Senior), who dislikes Glock - mainly for their triggers, dry try it and his first comment was: “This is how Glock triggers should have been from the first time”.

Note that this is only a Photo Of The Day – not a review - and sharing some joy getting rid of my previous “special trigger upgrade” and trying something new and very promising.

So while you wait for the review, I look forward to some range time. So far, I could only do some dry firing, and the TriggerTech ACE trigger feels just right, very close to my open gun.
