POTD: Samopal USA Drops the Ultimate vz.61 Skorpion
Samopal USA dropped the cleanest vz.61 Skorpion build stateside: a factory-fresh Czech small-arms legend turned into a folding, red-dot-ready pocket rocket. I’m not sure what I like best about this build, but it’s the hottest .32 ACP I’ve ever seen. The modern star of the show is the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 red dot, bolted solid via a C&C Precision GL-ACRO-XL-ST Glock plate that’s been expertly TIG-welded straight to the receiver.
The mount is so low it almost kisses the dust cover, yet the optic clears perfectly when the wire stock is folded, no tools, no drama. Except it looks like it took some expertise to even consider doing it.
Underneath sits a Tortort Manufacturing lower with an integral AR-style dovetail, letting the original folding stock snap in like it was born there. The entire gun wears Samopal’s exclusive “Czech Blue” finish, a dead-ringer for original factory bluing that’s actually a tough-as-nails Cerakote job using paint imported directly from the motherland. Only Samopal USA is said to bring this color to the American market.
Result? A 20-round .32 ACP buzzsaw that weighs under 4 lbs, folds to 10.5 inches, and now wears the toughest micro-dot on earth, ready for low-light CQB or just flexing at the range. The Skorpion never looked this lethal, or this good.

Also it says optic clears the wire stock. It would have been nice to show a picture of that! Folded stock with Acro-2 in place.
How much?
