Ruger and Davidson’s Release Exclusive FDE RXM Pistol
Are you one of those who were a bit disappointed that Ruger’s latest RXM color updates didn’t include a full FDM version? No need to worry, as Davidson’s has announced its latest exclusive collaboration with Ruger. The newest addition is an RXM pistol featuring a flat dark earth slide paired with a Magpul FDE frame, a configuration available only through Davidson’s Gallery of Guns.
The RXM platform was originally introduced during Davidson’s LIVE in December 2024 and represents a close joint project between Ruger and Magpul. The result is a fully American‑made handgun built around modern ergonomics, shooter‑oriented controls, and a set of upgrades intended to make the pistol competitive within its class while maintaining an accessible price point.
The slide includes forward and rear serrations for positive manipulation, along with an optics‑ready interface that accepts popular micro‑red‑dot footprints. The sighting system is compatible with a variety of configurations depending on user preference. In addition, the RXM series uses Ruger’s proven trigger system and is designed to offer a clean, predictable break.
By adding the new FDE option, Davidson’s expands the RXM catalog with a configuration that fits into the current market demand for earth‑tone pistols and accessory compatibility.
The exclusive model is shipping now and available for order through Davidson’s dealer network and GalleryofGuns.com. The price is $519. As usual, to save your valuable time, here’s a direct link to the action.

Very much prefer flush fit mag.
Once they offer a .45acp model and a 10mm I'll get interested. I still rather an RXM over a Glock Gen6.
