The barrel is 4.5 inches long and threaded. It accepts all standard AR-15 pistol grips. The top of the gun has a full-length picatinny rail, and there are MLOK slots on the handguard as well for accessory mounting. It feeds from a proprietary polymer magazine holding 32 rounds. Taurus also offers 20 and ten-round options. Interestingly, the instruction manual states that a 110-degree locking piece (that bears a resemblance to H&K ones) comes installed for use with standard ammo, and an included 85-degree locking piece should be swapped in for subsonic or suppressed use. This new design also includes ambi controls and a last round bolt hold open, unlike many legacy roller-delayed designs.
Taurus offers two primary versions of the RPC, one with a Strike Industries arm brace, and one without. Each of those versions is also available with a 10-round magazine in lieu of the standard 32-rounder for people who live in places that prohibit such things. MSRP for the non-brace model is $939, and $1,099 with the brace.
From the manufacturer:
"The RPC blends proven ergonomics with modern capability, thanks to its roller-delayed operating system that both enhances reliability and reduces felt recoil. The aluminum construction trims weight while maintaining duty-grade durability. Controls are fully ambidextrous, with the bolt release/lock and magazine release easily reached from both sides, and a reversible, non-reciprocating charging handle that adapts to the shooter, not the other way around.
The full-length Picatinny top rail provides space for optics and enablers, while the M-LOK handguard allows users to set up the platform to fit their needs. A 4.5” threaded barrel comes standard, and the quick-change barrel system adds flexibility for different configurations in the future. Available with or without a Strike Industries FSA folding brace, the rear of the receiver features a vertical Picatinny rail for attachments."

I would be excited,...but it requires me to sign up for ANOTHER proprietary magazine scheme. F@#k that!! There is no excuse for not designing it to use the bountiful availability of already excellent mags out there. Scorpion mags would have been fine,...or Uzi,...or MP5,...or Glock,...or MPX,...or Stribog,...I mean ANYTHING really. So I will ignore this thing until someone comes out with the replacement lower module to adapt it to something else. Not a way to entice customers or make friends, Taurus. Pull your head out of your Congress hole.

The next day at #Rosenhaven for the meeting .First, I'm going to rent a vehicle—an all-electric one. Yes, I'm a supporter of the fight against global warming. Arriving at the #dealership, I'm hesitating between a BYD and a #Tesla; in the end, I choose the Chinese model. So I head to #Bryggen to meet my partner. During the car ride, I don't know why, but I remember a show I watched on television. This TV investigation was about #drug_trafficking in Denmark and #Finland.
