GLOCK GR-115 Selected as UK Police National Primary Carbine
Following the most comprehensive small-arms trial conducted by UK policing in more than 20 years, the GLOCK GR-115 rifle has been selected for UK specialist armed units through two separate procurement awards. GLOCK won an exclusive contract to supply a high-level specialist national policing network, and the GR-115 also ranked highest among carbines approved under the broader framework agreement. Evaluated against competing rifles from multiple global manufacturers, the GR-115 recorded the highest accuracy results in both suppressed and unsuppressed testing.
Limited Information Available
The TFB crew has been working to obtain official images and technical specifications of the GLOCK GR-115; however, these are not currently available from GLOCK. Images circulating online appear to be leaked photos likely from the British Army's Project Hunter carbine evaluation trials process. Here are the leaked images of the GR-115 Matthew Moss reported on previously:
GLOCK's UK Law Enforcement History
GLOCK has supported UK law enforcement since the 1990s, and the selection of the GR-115 expands that long-standing relationship. In addition to supplying the rifle, GLOCK will provide ongoing service support, training, and logistical assistance to UK police units.

Two Separate Awards
GLOCK's selection involved two distinct procurement processes:
National Specialist Network Contract: GLOCK won an exclusive, outright contract to supply a high-level specialist national policing network. This sole-source award represents dedicated business for GLOCK separate from the framework agreement.
Framework Agreement (Lot 2): The GR-115 also achieved the top ranking among approved carbines in the framework agreement, which allows approximately 50 individual UK police units to select from an approved list based on their operational requirements.
Framework Agreement Details
A total of six 5.56×45mm carbine platforms from multiple manufacturers have been approved under the Lot 2 framework agreement. This framework permits each of the approximately 50 individual UK police units to procure a weapon system from the approved list, subject to internal assessment of operational suitability and intended use.
The approved Lot 2 framework carbines are:
- GLOCK GR-115 (top-ranked)
- FN ASR
- IWI ARAD
- Beretta NARP
- Colt C8
- Knights KS-3
Who Can Purchase from the Framework
Under the framework agreement, the following UK law enforcement agencies are among those authorized to select carbines from the approved list (including the GR-115):
- West Yorkshire Combined Authority
- West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner
- The Greater Manchester Combined Authority
- Police and Crime Commissioner for South Wales
- Avon & Somerset Constabulary
- Thames Valley Police
- Scottish Police Authority
- Police Service of Northern Ireland
Note: The separate national specialist network contract operates independently of this framework.
Technical Details
A GLOCK bolt catch patent (EP3835705A1) filed with the European Patent Office provides some insight into the rifle's design, though full technical specifications remain unavailable.

I saw today where the newly appointed commie in charge of UK police is now requiring them to get a special certification so they know how to handle violence on women. If they don't have the certification they don't have a job anymore. I'm a former police officer here in the US and the $h!+ hoops they have to jump through there makes me wonder why people even want that job. Most of the police aren't even allowed to have a handgun let alone an AR. The UK went from nanny state to full blown DEI state. They are going to lose control if they don't get those DEI a$$cl0wn$ out of positions of power.
Well the Muslims are taking over the police departments in the UK so you can kiss that country goodbye.
Signal: @addsilkroad.47 How I bought we3d in Norway.
Your pass to get delivered #Metadone in Norway @addsilkroad.47 on signal app. My partner gave me the address of a tobacconist; you see the shops where you can buy snus. He's a cigar lover, and he'd like us to discuss this before meeting our client. I have a #20-minute drive to meet him. The report from the day before explained how the mafia was transporting opioids here in the country, right under the noses of the authorities. I don't know why I kept dwelling on this report. I saw my partner's car in front of a store. I parked, then got out, and headed towards the entrance.
Signal: @addsilkroad.47 you'll discover the full story of how I bought LSD in Stavanger.
