The PTR JACK SBS FS: 25-Inch 12 Gauge NFA Shotgun
PTR Industries has added a fixed-stock variant to its JACK lineup with the introduction of The JACK SBS FS, a factory short-barreled shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. The FS configuration pairs a pistol grip forend with a fixed stock, keeping the platform in familiar shotgun ergonomic territory while cutting overall length down to 25 inches. I get scared and nervous just by looking at the images of this Beast!
Recoil management was a design priority. The fixed stock, pistol grip, and AR-style grip are all sourced from Hogue's OverMolded Rubber Tamer line, which PTR says is intended to reduce felt recoil and improve grip security during use. Unloaded weight comes in at 5.5 pounds.
As a factory-built NFA item, the JACK SBS FS requires the standard Form 4 transfer process through a licensed dealer. PTR notes that the shotgun cannot be shipped to Delaware, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island, and that conditional restrictions apply in California, Minnesota, Maryland, and Washington.
The gun is covered under PTR's limited lifetime warranty.

Would you consider the JACK SBS FS as a home defense option, or do you prefer a longer-barreled platform?

I cut down my 590....added a tritium bead and called it a day. Saved me a grand $.....keep it in the ....... No one but the bad guys will ever know it's there until they see the flash 💥💥
When is the firearms industry going to come up with something worthwhile ?
It would be damn nice if they put the whole spec in there and here. I had to look at their pistol version to see what shells it can shoot. So maybe I'm dumb as a rock, it handle 2 3/4 and 3" shell. I'm old school and I have to search the info on an item and it's not even listed on the makers website, that's strike one and two.
Looks like party time to me
Another silly pump shot gun. It might have been useful if semi-auto. Semi auto is every bit as reliable as a pump. Why pump shot guns are popular is a mystery.
I don'r think I man enough or stupid enough for a 7.5 inch barrel. Plus three rounds? Well, that makes it legal for duck hunting. If I had $1200 I didn't know what to do with, I do know it wouldn't be for this. The idea of outfitting it for mini shells is a good one but how available are they in the market place? One of the big points for a 12 ga. is that every Mom and Pop store has 12 ga. of some sort on their shelves. Whereas minis? Not so much.
I’ll stick with my 590 12 ga Shockwave at half the price.
This is just something for insecure men to show how tough they are.
I'll keep my 20" 590a1.
Only three rounds, I could just form one my coach gun and save the money
