POTD: Dark Mountain's Ultralight Stowaway Series
The Stowaway series from Dark Mountain Arms embraces a philosophy that predates modern tactical doctrine: sometimes, capability means having it with you, and knowing where to hide it until you need it. The focus in this Photo Of The Day is a 2.8-pound rifle that collapses to 16.65 inches, paired with a two-pound pistol that folds to seven inches.
They are single-shot bolt-action firearms built for absolute portability. Chambered in 5.7×28 or 9×19, with quick-swap barrel and bolt face options. Suppressor-threaded, optic-ready, the system whispers (pun intended) logic to a lot of potential buyers.

I like the concept, but there are a couple things I really think could be improved.
1.) If you're going to chamber these in small cartridges like 5.7 and 9mm, give them a magazine of literally any size. 5rds would be fine. But single-shot is kinda dumb.
2.) If you're not going to give us a magazine fed option, then can you chamber these in larger thumpier cartridges that can be readily made subsonic but give you a lot more downrange energy? 357/38spl, 44mag/spl, or just 45acp, for example.
