SIGHTRON has announced that its long-anticipated S6 10–60x56 ED Field Target riflescope is now shipping. The optic is intended for airgun and small-caliber field target shooters as well as benchrest competitors, with a design focused on high-resolution glass, precise parallax control, and repeatable adjustments. The S6 uses a 15-lens optical system built from Japanese optical-grade glass.

Two ED elements are positioned in the objective to increase resolution across the field of view. According to SIGHTRON, this configuration delivers improved edge-to-edge clarity and reduces chromatic aberration. The company’s Zact-7 Revcoat Plus multi-coating process is applied throughout the lens system for optimized light transmission and contrast.

Parallax control is handled by a redesigned cam mechanism offering 330 degrees of total travel. Of that range, 291 degrees are dedicated to field-target parallax adjustments from roughly 9 to 300 yards. An additional 39 degrees are reserved for diopter and environmental compensation. The system provides 91 degrees of correction specifically within the 40- to 60-yard segment, which is a key distance range for field-target competition.

SIGHTRON worked with Garima Design & Customization in Italy to produce a 145 mm magnetic side wheel tailored to the S6. The wheel attaches or detaches without tools, allowing competitors to remove it quickly for transport or gun-handling adjustments.

The scope is built around a 34 mm aluminum tube and weighs 33.6 ounces. It is tested to withstand heavy airgun recoil as well as centerfire forces up to .50 BMG levels, and is rated to 1,000 Gs over more than 10,000 cycles. The optic meets IPX7 waterproof standards and is nitrogen-purged to prevent internal fogging.

The S6 is available with the MOA-2FT or MH-FT illuminated reticles in the second focal plane. Both designs are intended for airgun and .22 LR competition use, with a floating center dot for precise aiming at high magnification.

Important features at a glance:

  • NEW Optical Design with Japanese glass and two ED Glass Elements
  • Garima Magnetic Side-Wheel Bundle
  • Parallax Correction Cam with DCEC Protection
  • Zact-7 Revcoat Plus Multi-Coating Technology
  • ExacTrack Windage & Elevation System

The price is set to $1799.99 for the scope, and $1999.99 as a bundle with the wheel.
