[SHOT 2026] RCBS MatchMaster Precision Case Trimmer and New Products
RCBS brought their MatchMaster Precision Case Trimme r to SHOT Show 2026 alongside a new Multi-Cartridge Reloading Block and displayed several prototypes to gauge shooter interest. RCBS partnered with Henderson Precision on the trimmer, combining Henderson's design expertise with RCBS's manufacturing capabilities.
The trimmer handles .22 through .30 caliber brass from 1.36 to 2.85 inches in length. Its three-way carbide cutter trims, deburrs, and chamfers simultaneously with adjustable blades. RCBS machined the body from 6061-T6 aluminum and 303/416 stainless steel, mounting it to their Accessory Base Plate or directly to any bench surface.
Henderson Precision upgraded the motor, added micrometer length adjustment for .001-inch precision, and redesigned the containment guard, brass catcher, carriage, motor mount, and base plate. The trimmer ships with the motor, bracket, case bin, cutter head, seven pilots (.22, .24, .25, .26, .27, .28, .30 caliber), and a #1 collet that fits .223 Rem, .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .300 Win Mag, and similar cartridges. Additional cutter heads, pilots, and collets are sold separately. MSRP is $699.99.
RCBS also released the MatchMaster Multi-Cartridge Reloading Block, machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum. The block holds two case sizes simultaneously - .384 or .470 bolt face diameters. This covers cartridges like .223 Rem, 5.56 NATO, 6mm ARC, .243 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, 7mm-08 Rem, .300 Blackout, .30-06 Springfield, .308 Win, and more. Total capacity is 50 cartridges with pass-through powder holes for easy cleanup. The blocks stack and include no-slip feet..
Beyond confirmed products, RCBS displayed two prototypes. One was a stackable billet block designed specifically for their powder funnel and adapter system - same idea and size as the loading block.
The other consisted of heavy-duty steel wrench tool with spots for dies and press parts along with other wrench cuts sized at 3/8, 3/4, 7/16, and 5/8 inches. Built thick to resist flexing, these handle reloading press and die adjustments similar to how an AR armorer's wrench works for firearms.
The Multi-Cartridge Reloading Block pricing sits at $74.99. Are you interested in the $699.99 trimmer, the dual-size loading block, or would you rather see those prototype wrenches hit production? Let us know in the comments below.
