Mossberg’s latest offering is a new semiautomatic “other” firearm, the 990 Aftershock. This 12-gauge gas-operated firearm offers a five-round magazine tube without any NFA tax stamp. It also includes a strap on the front end to make sure the support hand stays where it is supposed to be during firing.

Mossberg @ TFB:

Mossberg incorporates many popular upgrades on the 990 Aftershock, like the extended bolt handle, safety, and bolt release button. The loading port is also expanded and beveled for easy access. The birdshead-style pistol grip includes a QD sling cup for alternate carrying methods. Mossberg also incorporates an MLOK slot on the barrel clamp for easy flashlight mounting.

At launch, Mossberg is offering three 990 Aftershock models. Those include a 14.75-inch barrel model, an 18.5-inch barrel model, and a 14.75-inch version with an integrated Crimson Trace Lasersaddle on the receiver. And who knows, we may see additional chamberings in the future as well.

Keep an eye out for the 990 Aftershock coming soon!
