POTD: The Queen’s Equalizer Kit
Any company that calls one of their products The Queen’s Equalizer Kit deserves to be featured on TFB’s Photo Of The Day. If you want your bipod and barrel to be closer to each other, Accuracy Solutions has a product named like this. Depending on the installation method, rail on top or inside the Queen’s riser, the Queen’s Equalizer Kit for BipodeXt allows the rifle to sit anywhere from 2.057 inches (52.2 mm) to 2.935 inches (74.6mm) lower than it would sit when the rifle is mounted to a BipodeXt.
In case you’re not familiar with the BipodeXt, TFB has several articles from previous years, but it’s essentially a bipod system designed based on the principles of Archimedes' Lever. Serving as the fulcrum for your rifle, the BipodeXt stabilizer extends the rifle's resting point to enhance stability and reduce unintended movements.
AS’s product attaches to the BipodeXt Front Plug on one end, and it receives a Picatinny rail on the other end. The rail can be mounted either inside or on top of the Queen’s bracket. When it is mounted on top, it lowers the rifle by an additional 7/8″ (22 mm).
