POTD: Seekins Precision SIC Sniper Rifle
Photo Of The Day: Precision doesn’t always come from a bench, and Seekins Precision makes that point clear with its newest rifle, introduced in late 2025. The Seekins SIC is a purpose-built system developed specifically with U.S. Special Operations requirements in mind, emphasizing adaptability, durability, and efficiency in demanding environments. Rather than adapting a traditional chassis to accept a barreled action, the SIC was designed from the ground up as a fully modular rifle platform.
At its core, the rifle allows rapid, tool-less bolt disassembly and quick caliber changes through swappable, caliber-specific magazine wells. Carbon-fiber barrels feature machined flats to simplify barrel changes in the field, while the ambidextrous safety selector and integrated thumb shelf support efficient weapon manipulation from either side. The rifle incorporates an integrated ARCA rail, along with a 20 MOA scope base that aligns seamlessly with the full-length Picatinny top rail, ensuring proper setup for optics, night vision, and thermal devices. A fully adjustable comb, length of pull, and butt pad allow the SIC to be precisely fitted to the operator and mission, reinforcing its role as a flexible, mission-driven precision rifle system.
