POTD: MCX-Regulator - SIG Sauer’s Ranch Rifle

Redefining the Ranch Rifle, that’s what SIG Sauer says about the MCX-Regulator. Would it fit in front of your fireplace also, or would you rather watch it burn?
The MCX-REGULATOR is an alloy-framed rifle with a gas-piston system. It features a Magpul SGA stock for Mossberg 500/590 shotguns and a redesigned lower receiver that works with all MCX upper receivers. The rifle has ambidextrous controls, including the magazine release, safety selector, and bolt catch.
It comes with a two-stage match trigger, a cold hammer-forged carbon steel barrel, and a SIG-designed muzzle brake. Available in 7.62x39 and 5.56, it includes an integrated Arca Rail for tripod mounting and ships with a 10-round magazine.
The riflescope is a Tango MSR MRAD FFP with 2-12x44mm, which should make a sweet combination with those calibers.

So it's a larger, longer, uglier, more expensive Fightlite SCR?
Oh Mistah J, ya really know how to swoon a gal.
PSA/Sig ran a $1,400 promo last October where you got a "free" P365 (or about $600 in value towards whatever other handgun you might fancy) with a purchase. That made this rifle an $800 bargain, ESPECIALLY considering that the original MSRP on it was an absurd $3,000, which in CA (market it was targeting) it would end up about $3,600+ by the time you paid the usual tax ~9% sales tax and an ADDITIONAL 11% Newscum tax. It was a no-brainer for me, thought I'm still waiting on the pistol shipment. I've taken the rifle out a few times and it runs flawlessly, trigger is excellent, it's accurate, but I'm still working out the ergonomics on it.
Full retail - hell no! But for $800, c'mon son...
