P211-GTO NIGHTSHIFT: SIG's Flashiest Competition-Inspired 9mm Yet
SIG Sauer's Custom Works division isn't shy about color, and the P211-GTO NIGHTSHIFT proves it. This is the newest addition to the P211-GTO family, and it leans hard into the kind of finish work that used to be reserved for one-off show guns. TFB got a brief look at it during SHOT Show 2026, and the production version tracks closely with what SIG showed on the floor. I love blue and PVD, so I am all into this kind of look.
SIG Sauer P211 Goes Non-Comp With GT4 Carry and GT5 Full-Size
When SIG Sauer launched the P211 GTO in 2025, it made a statement: a steel-framed, double-stack 1911-architecture 9mm with an integrated compensator and the kind of fit and finish that makes serious competitors stop and take a second look. The obvious follow-up shot (pun intended) was: what about everyone who doesn't want a comp? The answer is two new variants, the P211-GT4 and the P211-GT5. Names that sound like they belong on a Nürburgring racing entry list more than a gun, but here we are.
POTD: The Rise of Armed Drones - SIG Sauer MH322
The line between small arms and unmanned systems continues to blur. Our Photo Of The Day shows the SIG Sauer MH322, a device from their Advanced Concepts Division. Rather than being a traditional firearm, the MH322 is designed as a lightweight remotely operated payload for unmanned platforms. There is no mention of the caliber, but I highly suspect it runs .22LR rimfire. There’s also an MH365, which I presume runs 9x19mm.
Sig Sauer Releases KILO-8K ABS Gen II SWG Rangefinder
Somewhat out of the blue, Sig Sauer announced a new member of its laser rangefinder family. The new KILO-8K ABS Gen II SWG builds on the prior generation and cuts down the blue tint by 95%. This is a real blue-chip upgrade that shooters have been clamoring for for a long time.
Trigger. Optic. Two Barrel Lengths - SIG's M400-FORGE Is Here
SIG Sauer has announced the M400-FORGE in two configurations: a rifle and a pistol. Both are built around the same cold hammer forged 5.56 NATO barrel, TriggerTech trigger, and ROMEO-MSR Gen II optic, with the primary differences coming down to barrel length, gas system, and brace versus stock.
Luke & Hop Test SIG's New M400 Forge AR-15
Today on TFBTV, @Hoplopfheil and @BallisticAviation pit the brand new budget-oriented SIG Sauer M400 Forge against the premium M400-SDI X. Weighing about 7 lbs, it offers SIG fans a reliable and capable platform, while still coming in at a price that's about $500 less than the more premium SDI X.
POTD: The Sig Sauer M17 With SOCOM AAL Upgrades
Today’s Photo of the Day features a customized SIG Sauer M17, shown here with a range of upgrades associated with SOCOM AAL-style configurations. Built on the P320-based M17 platform, this setup focuses on improved handling, control, and adaptability. The pistol is fitted with a Brouwer M1811 Grip Module, paired with a matching magwell to enhance reloads and overall ergonomics. A GoGun Gas Pedal is mounted to provide additional leverage for recoil control, while a flat-faced trigger replaces the standard curved unit.
SIG Sauer SIG516 G3 Bronze – Piston-Driven AR with Updated Finish
The SIG516 G3 platform continues to evolve with the introduction of the Bronze variant. While the core design remains consistent with previous 516 models, a rifle that combines a piston system and updated styling with modern AR features, this version adds a distinct Bronze Cerakote finish across the receivers and handguard.
SIG P320-XFIVE DH3: Daniel Horner's Competition-Tactical Crossover
SIG handed the P320 platform to Daniel Horner and told him to build something that works on a shot timer and a nightstand. The result is the P320-XFIVE DH3, a competition-weight 9mm that keeps enough tactical hardware to pull double duty.

[SHOT 2026] SIG Partners with IAI to Develop the Firestorm Armed Drone
There was a little bit of a drone theme at this year’s SHOT Show, with some of the companies showing off how their weapons could be integrated with medium-size rotor drones. Yesterday we showed you Colt’s collaboration with SURVICE to mount a 40mm automatic MK47 grenade launcher on a drone and today we bring you SIG Sauer’s impressive integration of an M250 on a IAI quad-rotor drone.
