P365-FLUX - The P365 gets the FLUX Treatment

Over the years the amount of solutions to combine the size and concealability of a pistol with the stability and precision of a pistol caliber carbine has only kept growing. The new SIG Sauer P365-FLUX blends these powers and a few more. Let’s take a closer look, as the P365 gets the FLUX treatment - with up to 46 rounds on hand.

SIG + Flux Defence @ TFB:

SIG calls it “the World's most concealable PDW,” and with an overall length of 19.12” and an overall width of 1.34” deployed and 1.52” folded, it certainly isn’t huge by any means, and easy to conceal, especially in a bag on your body. The weight with one magazine is 49.2 oz. I presume the magazine is empty, but the spec sheet doesn’t say.

The SIG P365 FLUX features:

  • 46 round capacity (Sentry Model)
  • Ambidextrous dual magazine release and controls
  • Muzzle Shroud
  • Front Picatinny Rail
  • A Spring Deployable Brace
  • 6" custom barrel integrated with extended muzzle shroud

There are more optional SBR stocks available.

The exploded view. Thanks to SIG Sauer for providing these, as I think they help our readers get an understanding of the components around the system. The sights are XRAY3 Day/Night.

The FLUX P365 Chassis is made out of polymer.

While I totally understand solutions like the FLUX system, I’ve never been a big fan. Perhaps I need more time and training with them? What’s your opinion? Do you prefer a pistol, something like this FLUX solution or a dedicated pistol caliber carbine? We read everything, so please share your thoughts.
