Real Avid Releases Master Maintenance Collection for Glock

One thing that really keeps me away from doing any kind of work, and especially gunsmith work, is the lack of tools. You can be sure that sometime along the (dis)assembly you’re going to run into issues, as you don’t have that special tool or pin that some engineer decided was vital for their design. Enter Real Avid and their Master Maintenance Collection for Glock, which I’m sure would have helped at an incident earlier this week at the range.

I’m no gunsmith, but I do like to be able to get myself (and other nice fellows on the range) out of at least minor troubles at competitions. Keeping essential tools and supplies readily available is key to performing efficient, high-quality firearm maintenance, and gives me a lot more confidence that I’m going to complete the task. For Glock enthusiasts who prefer a hands-on approach, the Real Avid Master Maintenance Collection for Glock should be a valuable resource.
Another story is when a less experienced friend brought a Dremel tool to the range, and that didn’t end so well. But it’s possible to buy new parts sometimes, or complete firearms in fact, and that’s how that story ended. Do you have any funny repair stories to share?
