New Savage Arms A22 and B Series Timber Tactical Rifles
Savage Arms has released the A22 and B Series Timber Tactical rimfire rifles, looking lovely in any of their combinations. These rifles feature an OD Green Laminate stock, designed to withstand tough conditions while maintaining traditional functionality. The stock includes a vertical grip for enhanced control during shooting and a rear hook for added stability. Dual forward sling studs provide versatile carrying options in the field, or if you prefer a bipod attachment at the front.
The semi-automatic A22 is chambered in .22 LR only, while the B Series offers options in .22 LR, .22 WMR, and .17 HMR, catering to a range of preferences. A 20 MOA Picatinny rail comes standard, allowing shooters to mount optics tailored to their needs.

The rifles are equipped with 10-round rotary magazines that sit flush for reliable feeding. An 18-inch heavy profile barrel, complete with deep spiral fluting and a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, ensures consistent performance. For B Series models, the 1.5-pound Precision AccuTrigger is said to deliver a crisp, clean pull to improve accuracy.

Judging from the images alone, these are good-looking rifles and they seem very functional. The dark gun metal fluted barrel with its threaded barrel is just icing on the cake, begging for a suppressor. Combined with an OD Green laminated stock, it’s making me very tempted. The real question that remains is, are you a semi-auto type of person, or more of a bolt-action personality?
