MDT Sporting Goods has launched a new 10-round polymer Gen2 magazine designed for the .350 Legend cartridge. This AICS-patterned magazine, crafted from durable polymer, is built to ensure reliable feeding in bolt-action rifles chambered for the straight-walled .350 Legend.

MDT Sporting Goods @ TFB:

Tailored for hunters and shooters in states requiring straight-wall cartridges, the magazine features a 10-round capacity with optimized geometry and refined feedlip design for smooth performance. Furthermore, the polymers’ natural noise damping is said to keep things quiet in the field, although I think other things may matter more than the magazine.

As you may know, the .350 Legend cartridge is a choice for deer hunting in regions where bottleneck rounds are restricted, delivers low recoil, strong terminal performance, and compatibility with both AR-15 and bolt-action platforms. I don’t really use the .350, but I had the opportunity to try LWRCI’s version (DI 350 Legend, semi-automatic) at the SHOT Show range day, which used a steel magazine. Would you prefer a bolt-action or an AR-15 for the .350 Legend?
