Trijicon Introduces the AccuPoint 1-8x24 Dangerous Game Riflescope
Trijicon has expanded its AccuPoint lineup with the introduction of the new AccuPoint 1-8x24 riflescope, aimed squarely at hunters pursuing dangerous game and those looking for a highly versatile, battery-free optic. Developed with input from professional hunters operating in environments ranging from Alaska to Africa, the AccuPoint 1-8x24 is designed to support big-bore rifles in both close-quarters and extended-range scenarios.
Trijicon Optics @ TFB:
Central to the new model is Trijicon’s Hunter Holds MOA reticle, which allows most dangerous game cartridges to be zeroed at 50 or 100 yards while providing straightforward 50-yard hold points out to 250 yards. This layout is intended to simplify shot placement during fast, high-pressure encounters without sacrificing precision at distance.
Like other AccuPoint models, the 1-8x24 uses Trijicon’s tritium and fiber-optic dual-illumination system, eliminating the need for batteries. Reticle brightness automatically adjusts to ambient lighting conditions, with a manual override available depending on the configuration.
The scope features premium multi-coated, broadband, anti-reflective glass for clarity and brightness, housed in a hard-anodized, military-grade aluminum body. Tool-free windage and elevation turrets provide repeatable adjustments and consistent tracking.
As with the rest of the AccuPoint line, the 1-8x24 is subjected to Trijicon’s “Alaska-to-Africa Tested” protocol, including solid zero testing, recoil and vibration testing, drop testing, and immersion testing to ensure reliability in extreme temperatures and harsh field conditions.
The Trijicon AccuPoint 1-8x24 has an MSRP of $1,904.
