A compact PCC/pistol
The GFORCE Jawbone is in that newly popular category of guns that are based on rifle designs, but legally speaking, they’re a pistol. It uses an AR-pattern action, but according to the ATF, it’s a handgun. Nevada-based GFORCE introduced this platform in 2025, bringing in a 9x19mm version first, offering it at an introductory price of $439—see more on that here. When they introduced that pistol, they said it was made in the USA. The lineup has expanded since then, and now they have a .45 ACP version as well, and they still say it’s made in the States.
They’ve just announced two new barrel lengths for the .45 version of the pistol. There’s a new 5-inch version as well as a 7-inch version. Like the original 9x19mm pistol, the new Jawbone models (G21 or G30) both feed from Glock-pattern mags as well. They ship with a single mag (made by KCI) that gives the pistol 26+1 capacity.
Otherwise, many of the specs are similar to the 9x19mm version. The barrel comes with 5/8-24 UNEF; the pistol’s controls appear to be the same, according to their website: “Outfitted with an Ace of Brace paddle pistol brace, the JAWBONE offers enhanced stability, making it a perfect choice for home defense, tactical training, or range domination. Ambidextrous controls, including a magazine release and charging handle, ensure smooth handling for both left- and right-handed shooters. The forend charge handle adds an extra layer of control, giving you the edge in high-pressure situations.”
