TROY Defender PSW: A Compact Suppressed Carbine

Who doesn’t want a Personal Survival Weapon? The TROY Defender PSW is a compact carbine said to be designed for reliability and versatility in demanding situations. Measuring just 22 inches with the stock collapsed, it’s built for self-defense, predator control, or easy transport in tight spaces.
The Defender PSW integrates TROY’s TPRS suppressor and flash hider, which should effectively reduce noise and muzzle flash while maintaining performance. Its PSW system minimizes gas blowback, keeping the shooter’s sight picture clear during rapid fire. This focus on control and clarity is described as making it a practical choice for high-pressure scenarios.
The barrel length is 7.5" (19.05 cm) and it’s chambered in 5.56. The upper and lower receivers are made out of forged 7075 aluminum, in a Black Type III hardcoat anodized finish or with FDE Cerakote. The trigger group features nickel teflon plated hammer and trigger.
Key features include:
- New TROY SURG Hand Guard (Patent Pending) for superior stability and accessory mounting

Why make this in a 5.56? In .300 Blackout, yeah, it would be awesome. But a 7.5" 5.56 is pointless. You're just giving up way too much.
Lets pick a caliber and barrel length that isn't going to blast your face off, flash hider or no. For example:
5.7 Ruger Charger, 10in barrel w/option to folding stock.
