Primary Arms Optics has released the SLx RS-10R Mini Reflex Sight, an RMR footprint pistol red dot designed to fit various optics-ready slides and mounts. It was introduced at SHOT Show 2025 and is now available for $209.99 through Primary Arms and its authorized dealers.

Primary Arms Optics @ TFB:

The RS-10R is built from 7075 aluminum, featuring a 23×19mm multi-coated lens, a side-loading CR1632 battery compartment. The sight weighs 1.1 ounces. It offers up to 40,000 hours of battery life with AutoLive® motion-sensing technology for power efficiency, suitable for concealed carry or duty use.

The optic is said to combine a durable construction, user-friendly controls, and extended battery life, making it a practical option for both professionals and enthusiasts.

“When the original SLx RS-10 released, we received a lot of feedback about its footprint,” said Stephen Morgan, Director of Product Marketing at Primary Arms Optics. “By fitting the RMR mounting pattern, we’re giving users more flexibility without compromising on durability or value.”

The MSRP is $234.99 and the dot size is 3 MOA. In my opinion, based on owning red dots from 2 to 9 MOA, a dot around 3-4 MOA is about perfect for both precision and getting precision on a target. The illumination is said to be “Daylight Visible”, so that you can use it in broad daylight.

This looks like an addition for my AK. Primary Arms has a great quality to $$ Ratio.

They really do; every optic of any kind I've gotten from them has punched far above its price point.

PA releasing an optic that comes in over what a 407a ( the non solar option) that they themselves regularly sell.
