Bergara Expands Premier Series With the Platinum Stalker
Bergara has added a new hunting rifle to its Premier Series with the introduction of the Platinum Stalker, blending classic styling with modern performance and rugged reliability. Built on a laminate Monte Carlo stock, the Platinum Stalker offers hunters a traditional aesthetic paired with the stiffness and weather resistance that laminate wood provides, resisting warping and damage in harsh field conditions.
Bergara @ TFB:
At the heart of the rifle is a fluted, No. 4.5 profile stainless steel barrel that is manufactured in-house using Bergara’s proprietary honing and rifling process. The stainless Cerakote-finished Premier action and precision barrel are engineered to deliver repeatable precision, with sub-MOA accuracy across the available calibers.
An included Omni muzzle brake helps reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, aiding quick follow-up shots in the field.
The Platinum Stalker features a TriggerTech Primary trigger that delivers a crisp, zero-creep break, and an M5 bottom metal with a hinged floorplate that can also be converted to accept AICS-pattern magazines, giving shooters flexibility out of the box.
The laminate Monte Carlo stock includes traditional checkering, sling swivel studs, and a premium recoil pad for improved handling and comfort. Caliber options span a broad range suited for many hunting scenarios, from 25 Creedmoor and 6.5 Creedmoor up through magnum chamberings such as 300 PRC and 375 H&H Magnum.
Weights vary slightly by configuration but generally start around 6.7 pounds, and MSRP begins at $1,749.
The Platinum Stalker aims to offer hunters a versatile, performance-driven platform with the look of a classic wood rifle and the precision and durability of a modern laminated-stock rifle.
