The Remington 700 Adjustable Ultra Precision Trigger Group by CMC
CMC Triggers Corp has announced the release of its new Remington 700 Adjustable Ultra Precision Trigger Group, a next-generation trigger system designed for one of the world’s most iconic bolt-action rifle platforms. Now available in both Flat and Curved trigger-bow configurations, this latest offering brings CMC’s proven trigger technology and ergonomics from the AR platform into the precision bolt-action arena.
“The Remington 700 platform has long been a benchmark for precision rifles, and we wanted to deliver a trigger that matches that legacy,” said Ken Ross, CMO of CMC Triggers. “This system gives shooters the adjustability, feel, and reliability they expect from CMC, now purpose-built for bolt-action performance.”
The trigger group was engineered with a singular goal: to combine the performance of CMC’s field-proven AR triggers with the exacting demands of precision rifle shooters. The result is a trigger that delivers a clean, consistent break with zero creep and overtravel, allowing shooters to maintain a stable sight picture and break shots with exceptional control. This consistency directly supports improved accuracy, enhanced shooter confidence, and reliable performance across a wide range of environments and applications.
A key innovation in the new system is CMC’s patent-pending O.C.D.™ (Optimized Component Design) Locking System. This advanced safety feature locks all active trigger components, providing an added margin of safety under all conditions. Whether used in competition, hunting, or tactical scenarios, the O.C.D.™ Locking System is designed to help ensure the trigger performs safely and predictably when it matters most.
The trigger group also features an externally accessible pull-weight adjustment, allowing users to fine-tune the trigger to their preference without removing the action from the stock. Factory preset to 2.5 pounds, the trigger offers an adjustment range from 8 ounces to 3.5 pounds, giving shooters the flexibility to tailor the trigger pull to specific disciplines, conditions, and personal preferences. This level of adjustability, combined with external access, makes the system highly adaptable for both field and range use.
Constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum and S7 tool steel, the Remington 700 Adjustable Ultra Precision Trigger Group is built for durability, strength, and long-term reliability in demanding conditions. The self-contained, drop-in design streamlines installation by eliminating loose components and the need for special tools.
Now shipping to dealers nationwide. The MSRP for the new Trigger Groups is $209.99.

The only stock factory triggers I have been satisfied with from the beginning have been on Remington 700s. Can't think of a reason to replace one, for hunting or competition.
