New TriggerTechs For The Ruger Precision Rifle Centerfire

TriggerTech has announced the release of two new aftermarket triggers specifically designed for the Ruger Precision Rifle (RPR) centerfire platform, compatible with Generation 1 through Generation 3 rifles. Building on its partnership with Ruger that began in 2020, where TriggerTech has supplied two-stage triggers to the Ruger Custom Shop, the company is now offering lower pull-weight options aimed at shooters looking to further refine their RPR’s performance.

The new offerings include the RPR Diamond and RPR Special, both two-stage triggers engineered to deliver consistent break characteristics with minimal overtravel. Each model features a flat trigger lever, ambidextrous design, and TriggerTech’s proprietary Zero Creep, TKR, and CLKR technologies. Overtravel is held to less than 0.010 inches, and both triggers include a first-stage lockout for additional control.

The RPR Diamond is the lighter and more expensive of the two options, and is colored green, with a first-stage pull weight adjustable from under 4 ounces to 20 ounces, and a second stage adjustable from under 4 ounces to 24 ounces. It is priced at $344.99.

The RPR Special offers a slightly heavier adjustment range, with first-stage pull weights from 8 to 24 ounces and second-stage pull weights from 8 to 32 ounces. The Special is priced at $259.99.

Both triggers are backed by TriggerTech’s lifetime product warranty and are designed as drop-in upgrades for Ruger Precision Rifle centerfire models, giving precision shooters additional tuning options without modification.

Everyone has their favorite brand when it comes to triggers, and for some reason, I find that a lot of my rifles (including my Ruger Precision Rifle, albeit not a rimfire) run TriggerTechs. And most of them are flat and double-staged. How about you?
