The Integrally Suppressed Vanquish AR-22 from Angstadt Arms

Integrally suppressed firearms are an almost sub-niche within the niche that is firearm suppressors. Angstadt Arms is one of the few names in town that is actively producing not just one, but several different types of integrally suppressed firearms and standalone barrels, and today, they’re introducing the new Vanquish AR-22, which should be the perfect addition to any dedicated CMMG 22LR upper.

The Integrally Suppressed Vanquish AR-22 from Angstadt Arms
Charlotte, NC (October 14, 2025) — Angstadt Arms, a leader in suppressed rimfire platforms and tactical weapon systems, proudly announces the Vanquish AR-22 — bringing the award-winning Vanquish integrally suppressed technology to the AR-22 platform.
The Vanquish AR-22 combines Angstadt’s patented baffle-free integrally suppressed design with a precision-ported barrel engineered to drop the velocity of standard .22LR ammunition to subsonic speeds. The result is an exceptionally quiet, cleaner, and more reliable shooting experience — without the carbon and lead buildup common to traditional baffle-style suppressors.
“Shooters have been asking for a suppressed AR-22 solution that doesn’t compromise on accuracy, sound performance, or reliability — and the Vanquish AR-22 delivers,” said Rich Angstadt, President of Angstadt Arms. “We designed it to give AR-format rimfire shooters the same whisper-quiet, low-maintenance experience that Vanquish users on the Ruger® 10/22® platform already enjoy.”
Key Features
● Baffle-Free Design: No internal baffles to trap lead or carbon — meaning less cleaning, zero baffle strikes, and longer life.
● Precision-Ported Barrel: Porting tuned to bring standard .22LR rounds to subsonic speeds for maximum suppression without subsonic ammo.
● True Drop-In Compatibility: Designed as a seamless upgrade for CMMG® dedicated .22LR bolt platforms — no modifications required.
For $599, the Vanquish AR-22 gives you a purpose-built .22 LR setup with an all-metal 416R bull barrel, black Cerakote finish, and a full-auto rating. It’s offered in both 12-inch and 18-inch lengths, so you can go compact or stretch things out. You can grab one now from Angstadt Arms or a trusted dealer and get ready for some seriously fun range time. Full compatibility notes are below and also available on the website.
Compatibility:
Compatible SKUs: 22A7E0F, 22AC60F, 22A340F, 22BA487
NOT compatible with 5.56 to .22LR conversion kits (NON-Compatible SKUs: 54BA6AC, 54BA6B9, 22BA651, 22BA6AE, 54BA67A, 22BA6AE-FDE, 22BA62C, 22BA6E1, 22BA68A, 22BA651-FDE, 22BA6F4, 22BA62F, 22BA6B3, 22BA64E, 54BA645)
Build Notes:
The 12″ Barrel configuration pairs well with our 10.5″ Ultra Light Handguard, and the 18″ barrel configuration pairs well with our 15″ Ultra Light Handguard.
Ammunition compatibility:
The Vanquish AR-22 is not compatible with CCI Stinger hyper-velocity ammunition because the Stinger case is slightly longer at .702″ versus .613″ for a traditional 22LR case. Instead, if you want to shoot a high velocity round, we recommend the CCI Velocitor as it uses a normal case length and is still rated at 1,435 ft/sec. But hey, you’re shooting suppressed, why would you want to break the sound barrier? Keep it quiet and choose standard velocity or subsonic rounds for the best sounding shots.
