Kimber has a new series of 1911 pistols. The Next Gen series incorporates features from the 2K11 family of pistols. Let’s take a look at how these new pistols have changed from prior generations.

This is by no means an all-encompassing list of 1911 manufacturers. There are way too many custom manufacturers to list them all. Instead, I’ve compiled a list of the most common 1911 makers and their current offerings. Feel free to add your favorite manufacturer to the list in the comments.
