Like every year, Strike Industries had a bunch of new or prototype products on display at their SHOT Show booth. Arguably, this year’s most interesting new Strike products were the prototype 9mm pistol caliber carbine, the final version of their SMC chassis for the FN P90, which was introduced last year but is now very close to hitting the market, as well as the new Polymer FSA stocks. Let’s take a quick look at each of these new SI products.

Strike Industries Polymer FSA Stocks

At the Strike SHOT booth, we saw two versions of the new Polymer FSA stock - one for a 1913 rail and another designed for the CZ Scorion Evo 3 (shown in the pictures). The Polymer FSA is made of fiber-reinforced Polymer Extreme Material. It’s a folding and adjustable stock. The side button at the base of the stock is for folding it to the left side of the firearm. The central lever at the toe of the stock allows extending or collapsing it.

These stocks will be available very soon with an MSRP of about a hundred dollars.

Strike Industries SMC Chassis For FN P90

Strike Industries' SMC chassis for the P90 has different ergonomics and grip angle compared to the original P90 stock. The chassis features an adjustable cheek rest, a 1913 rail section in front of the trigger guard, an internal cable management system and integrated QD sling swivel sockets.

The SMC chassis is compatible with the FN Spacialties FRT90 Forced Reset Trigger for FN PS90. As mentioned above, Strike SMC will be available for order soon.

Strike Industries 9mm Pistol Caliber Carbine

This new Strike PCC is built around a fire control group, meaning that an internal chassis will be the serialised part, which will allow to easily swap the lower receiver to reconfigure the gun for compatibility with a different pattern magazine. The version in the pictures is fed from CZ EVO3 magazines.

This strike PCC is a direct blowback firearm with a recoil-dampening mechanism to mitigate the felt recoil. The upper and lower receivers, along with the handguard, are made of reinforced polymer. The barrel is free floated. The ejection port and the charging handle are reversible. The lower receiver features a rear 1913 rail for attaching stocks and braces. The overall length without a stock is 13.5” and the weight is under 4.5lbs.

The Strike PCC has ambidextrous controls (magazine catch, magazine release, and selector switch), which are all AR-15 compatible parts. There will also be an optional bolt stop for utmost sound reduction when used with suppressors. Additionally, a Forced Reset Trigger will be available.

That PCC looks like it was made out of compressed sand.
