[SHOT 2026] New Remington Rifle, Handgun, Shotgun and Rimfire Ammo
New for 2026 from Remington Ammunition are several centerfire rifle, shotgun, handgun and rimfire ammunition options, both expansions of existing lines and completely new lines such as the new We The People ammunition that includes a mix of popular calibers and is created to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary.
Below are the new Remington ammunition lines that were released during or right before the SHOT Show 2026, in addition to the We The People line.
Remington Centerfire Rifle Ammunition
For 2026, Remington has a new centerfire rifle product line called Subsonic Rifle. This ammunition is loaded with Boat-tail Hollow Point (BHP) bullets and will be initially available in the following subsonic load options: 360 Buckhammer 250gr, 308 Winchester 190gr, and .45-70 Government 300gr.
Remington is also jumping into the 7mm Backcountry bandwagon, introducing three loads: Core-Lokt 175gr, Core-Lokt Tipped 175gr, and Premier Long Range Speer Impact 175gr.
There are also three new Core-Lokt PSP (Pointed Soft Point) loads: 300 Blackout 130gr, 6.5mm PRC 140gr, and 7mm PRC 175gr.
Remington Handgun Ammunition
For handgun hunters and those who use handguns for predator defense, Remington introduces a new line of ammunition called Hard Cast. This ammo features hard cast waxed groove alloy bullets and nickel-plated cases and will be available in the following options: 10mm Auto 200gr, .44 Magnum 260gr, .357 Magnum 180gr, 9mm Luger +P 145gr.
There is also a new .45 Long Colt Core-Lokt JHP (Jacketed Hollow Point) option loaded with 237gr bullets.
Remington Shotgun Ammunition
The completely new shotgun ammunition line released this year by Remington is the Final Strut turkey hunting ammo. Loaded with 12g/cc tungsten #6 or #7 shot, this ammunition will be initially offered for 12ga 3” with a load weight of 2 oz and 20ga 3” with a 1 1/4 oz payload.
The new Royal Flush line grouse and quail ammo options are 12ga 2 3/4", 1 1/4 oz , and 20ga 2 3/4”, 1 oz, all loaded with #7 1/2 or #8 copper-plated birdshot.
Remington Rimfire Ammunition
In the rimfire department, Remington also has a new ammunition line called Performance Wheelgun 22. According to Remington, the truncated cone shape of this new rimfire ammo bullets is designed for low noise and optimal performance in rimfire revolvers. The only Performance Wheelgun 22 load currently available is .22 Long Rifle, 39gr.
