[SHOT 2026] First Look: YHM Victra 20-gauge Silencer

Yankee Hill Machine was at SHOT Show 2026 and had their new Victra 20 on display. This was our first chance to see it in person, and alongside the big brother 12-gauge model. Keep reading for all the details.

The YHM Victra-20 shotgun suppressor takes the design of the Victra-12 and scales it down for use on 20-gauge guns. Like the original model, the Victra-20 uses choke threads in the shotgun barrel as the mounting point. The mount system also allows the suppressor to be timed to the barrel so that the body sits below the bore line, where it does not obstruct the sight picture or peripheral vision.

Because the Victra-20 uses the shotgun choke threads as a mounting point, the silencer incorporates its own chokes at the front of the suppressor. An improved cylinder coke comes with the silencer, and a range of other options are available for purchase as well. The Victra-20 is also a modular silencer. It can be shortened from the full 10-inch length to 8, 6, or 4 inches by using the appropriate set of mounting rods for each length.

In the full 10” configuration, the Victra-20 reduces most commercial shotgun loads to 132 dB at the shooter’s ear. Most users will also note a decrease in felt recoil, which allows the shooter to concentrate on the target.
