POTD: The New Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite

I don’t know who runs Ruger’s social media, but I personally wouldn’t use a black and white photo (see at the bottom of this article) to illustrate the new model of the Mark IV 22/45 with a description mentioning its “bold color-matched details”. Luckily for this Photo Of The Day, there are multiple color images on Ruger’s homepage.
Other features include a bull barrel, adjustable sights, and a Picatinny rail. To further enhance the deal, that barrel is threaded. Seen here are the models 43955 and 43956 (Black, with golden trigger).
The sight system includes an adjustable rear sight and a factory-installed Picatinny rail for optics. The manual safety is ambidextrous but can be converted to left-side-only with the supplied washer.
The receiver is made from lightweight, “ventilated” aluminum, and the barrel is stainless steel with a tensioned design. The barrel is cold hammer-forged and threaded 1/2"-28, with a thread protector included. If you want to be the man with the Golden trigger (and barrel), this might be the one!
The grip panels are styled after the 1911 and are also checkered for improved handling.
The suggested retail price is $739. It’s not that I need another suppressed 22LR pistol, but I want one.

Amazing to see just how MANY things are out there for a Ruger pistol or a rifle. (in .22 LR)
Really looks like Bill HAD his "stuff" together, starting in 1949 !
Just like Glocks, everybody can "improve" but nobody else came up with it first.
That price point seems a bit spicy.
