POTD: Vanward Hunter Pro Anniversary Suppressor
A suppressor as a Photo Of The Day? Yes, indeed, at least if it looks as good as this one, with a polished Hexagonal pattern. Oh, the wonders of additive manufacturing in combination with post-finishing, and I think the end result looks really exclusive. The rifle is a Jakele J1 Alpin Bavaria, which is very compact and lightweight (about 2.7 kg or 5.7 pounds).
Vanward AS is a Norwegian manufacturer specializing in 3D-printed titanium suppressors and competition compensators and muzzle devices. Originally established in 2021 to distribute and sell TE-Titanium suppressors, the company shifted focus in 2022 to redesign the products under its own brand. In 2023, Vanward launched its first proprietary suppressors, featuring a unique design and performance characteristics tailored for modern shooters.
Some of the Vanward Suppressor features include maintenance-free, unlimited number of shots, fail-safe design, 3D printed titanium Grade 5 and a 10-year warranty.
The Vanward Hunter Pro Gen 2 is said to give a 33 dB reduction on a rifle with a .308Win 16” / 41 cm barrel. I have two Vanward suppressors on order and look forward to reviewing them here. I don’t think they will look as flashy as this one!
